HARRISON, N.J. (November 8, 2023) – NJ/NY Gotham FC of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced today that it has added three new minority owners to its ownership group: basketball legend Sue Bird, experienced investor Carolyn Tisch Blodgett, and former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.

Bird is a four-time Olympic gold medalist, five-time WNBA champion, and 13-time WNBA All-Star. She is widely considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time.

Tisch Blodgett is the CEO of Next 3 Ventures and a strategic advisor to the Tisch Ownership Group of the New York Giants. She has a wealth of experience in the sports industry, having previously worked for the NFL and the New York Yankees.

Manning is a two-time Super Bowl champion and four-time Pro Bowl selection. He is one of the most successful quarterbacks in NFL history.

The addition of Bird, Tisch Blodgett, and Manning to the ownership group is a major coup for NJ/NY Gotham FC. The three new owners bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the club, and their involvement will help Gotham FC continue to grow and succeed.
